celebrated spanish techno artist ascii.disko returns to biatch corp for release number 13 on the label with two divergent remixes from taster peter and jussi-pekka. the original version is an intriguing slice of rough hewn techno, exactly the kind of ruggedness on the dance floor ascii.disko has become well-known for. rising italian techno producer taster peter significantly re-works the track in to a dark, peak hour chugger complete with rolling drums and polyrhythmic glee that cannot be easily ignored. rounding out the three-track release is a remix from finnish star jussi-pekka. giving the source material a wild ride that combines a shuffling house beat, funky latin percussion, and even a slight hint of yello. his re-interpretation strips away the industrial strength techno edge of the original and replaces it with a warm, inviting deep house vibe that will get dance floors jumping for joy.

wetyourself! recordings introduces wys008... following their live debut in fabrics esteemed room one, wetyourself! resident peter pixzel delivers his second collaborative effort with producer august jakobsen. it will be the pairs vinyl debut and one the most comprehensive releases on the label so far.

hotflush presents its fifth release from rising producer sigha. this ep continues his progression into subterranean techno hauntings. since his debut on the imprint in early 2009, sigha has accumulated support from djs across the electronic sphere such as francois k, brendon moeller, marcel dettmann, ben klock, peter van hoesen, james ruskin, and many others. with this release he takes a more direct approach that maintains the cavernous atmosphere and spatial tension of his previous work on hotflush and his own label our circula sound, resulting in a collection of club tracks that evolve and sizzle with burning tenacity, ultimately bursting into the beatless closer that echoes about in an otherworldly space.

a disc sounds contradictory, difficult challenge, but well won by keira. more and more confirmed in future scenarios of electronic music. nebel leben arrives with soft, sensual sounds, representing the best sound minmal berlin. even the remix of andrea andrea mattioli & rocco and taster peter seem to shine its light, finding a perfect environment within this album. there is another fascinating piece style fragments produced in collaboration with anton essential.

who am i? thats what ruede hagelstein asks himself when he looks at the reflection in the mirror every morning when he gets up. then the image goes into the studio and produces tracks for upon you for him. the first one sings >give a little slap to your soul< darkly and romanticly at a relaxed 120 bpm into the mike and has taken up lodgings on a1 of our uy 047. the second plays piano, even if just paraphrased. the b1 beat requires a slightly faster dancer that a1. then the third member of the group on b2 with a quite definitive minimal touch, sounds a bit like peter and the wolf at the lsd opera … hop hop off you go then my lovelies.

noir music is bringing back the sun with this delightful piece of deephouse music from los suruba. haunting vocals on fantastic melodies and moods through out the spanish pantalones journey.
